Hull design & stability performance

We engineered the multi-chine hull of the Pelican Rebel 100XP Angler fishing kayak specifically for anglers who stand to cast or need a stable platform while battling fish. The wider 32-inch beam combined with our signature chine rails creates exceptional secondary stability that prevents tipping when you shift your weight.

The flat deck platform gives you solid footing whether you’re standing to spot fish in shallow water or repositioning while fighting a big one. Our RAM-X polyethylene hull construction with EXO skin technology provides the perfect balance of rigidity and flex—stiff enough for tracking performance but with enough give to absorb impact when you bump a dock or drag over a gravel launch.

Fishing features & rigging options

We designed the deck layout with input from tournament anglers to create the most functional fishing platform possible in a 10-foot kayak. The Rebel 100XP Angler comes standard with two molded-in flush rod holders positioned within easy reach, plus two additional flush-mount fittings that accept aftermarket holders for customization.

Transducer mounting & electronics

Twin molded transducer scoop recesses on both sides of the hull allow you to install your fish finder transducer without drilling. The protected recesses keep your electronics safe while maintaining clean water flow for accurate readings. The center console area provides a flat mounting surface for electronics displays or a tackle tray.

Dimensions & weight capacity

At 10 feet long and 32 inches wide, the Rebel 100XP Angler delivers the perfect balance of maneuverability and stability for fishing in rivers, lakes, and protected coastal waters. The 52-pound hull weight makes it manageable for solo loading on most vehicles using our optional kayak cart accessories.

Our 325-pound maximum weight capacity accommodates most anglers plus a full complement of fishing gear, cooler, and safety equipment. The sit-on-top design eliminates cockpit weight restrictions and makes it easy to get on and off when launching from docks or beaches. If you’re looking for similar stability in a slightly different configuration, our Pelican Sentinel 100XP Angler offers comparable features with an alternative seating arrangement.

Perfect stability for standing casts
I've had the Rebel 100XP Angler for six months now and the stability is exactly what I needed. I can stand and cast without feeling tippy, and the rod holders keep everything organized. The weight capacity handles me plus all my gear without sitting low in the water.

Great value fishing platform
This kayak gives me everything I need for bass fishing on local lakes without the premium price tag. The transducer recesses made mounting my fish finder easy, and the construction feels solid. I've dragged it over rocks and gravel with no damage.

Comfortable for all-day trips
The padded backrest keeps me comfortable during long days on the water. I typically fish 4-6 hours per session and never feel like I need to cut it short. My only addition was a small crate for the tank well to organize my tackle better.

Easy to handle solo
At 52 pounds I can load this on my truck rack by myself, which was important since I fish alone most mornings. The carrying handles are positioned well and the kayak balances nicely. It tracks straight without constant correction.

Exactly what river fishing needed
I fish smallmouth on our local river and this kayak handles current and tight spaces perfectly. The 10-foot length lets me get into spots bigger kayaks can't reach, but it's still stable enough when I'm anchored and casting. Love the bungee storage up front for my tackle bag.

Solid starter fishing kayak
This is my first fishing kayak after years of using a canoe, and the Rebel 100XP Angler has been a great introduction. It's forgiving for a beginner but has all the features I need as I learn more about kayak fishing. The price point made it an easy decision.

Good to know

Rebel 100XP Angler questions

The maximum weight capacity is 325 pounds, which includes the paddler, all fishing gear, cooler, safety equipment, and any accessories you add. We recommend staying at least 25-30 pounds under the maximum capacity for optimal performance and safety.

Most anglers find this capacity accommodates them plus a full complement of fishing gear comfortably without compromising stability or tracking.

Yes, the multi-chine hull design and 32-inch beam width provide the stability needed for standing to cast or spot fish. The flat deck platform gives you secure footing.

We always recommend practicing standing in shallow water first to get comfortable with the kayak's balance point. Individual stability also depends on your weight distribution and sea conditions.

The kayak typically does not include a paddle with purchase, though availability varies by retailer. We recommend checking with your dealer about current package options.

We suggest a 230-250cm paddle for most anglers using the Rebel 100XP Angler, depending on your height and paddling style. Our fishing-specific paddles feature drip rings and reinforced blades for durability.

The Rebel 100XP Angler features twin molded transducer scoop recesses on both sides of the hull that accept most standard transducers without drilling. The protected recesses maintain clean water flow for accurate readings.

The center console area provides a flat mounting surface for your display unit. Most anglers complete a basic fish finder installation in under an hour using the pre-molded recesses and simple through-hull wiring.

Both kayaks share the same 10-foot length and fishing-focused features, but differ in seating configuration and specific deck layout details. The Rebel 100XP Angler emphasizes standing stability with its multi-chine hull, while the Sentinel offers an alternative seating system.

We recommend comparing the specific features of each model at your local dealer to determine which configuration better matches your fishing style and comfort preferences.

Yes, the RAM-X polyethylene construction with EXO skin technology resists saltwater corrosion and UV damage. Many anglers use this kayak successfully in protected coastal waters, bays, and estuaries.

We always recommend rinsing the kayak with fresh water after saltwater use and periodically checking any metal hardware or accessories for corrosion. The kayak itself requires no special maintenance beyond normal cleaning.

The Rebel 100XP Angler includes two molded-in flush rod holders positioned for easy access while seated. Additionally, two flush-mount rod holder fittings are pre-installed, allowing you to add aftermarket rod holders in your preferred configuration.

This gives you flexibility to customize your rod holder setup based on whether you're trolling, casting, or need specific positioning for your fishing technique.
